Who is involved?
​King Solomon and his Shulamite bride.  The Shulamite’s father, mother, two daughters, and their sons.  The Daughters of Jerusalem. 

What is happening? 
A beautiful picture of love within the union of marriage.  King Solomon and his bride paint a picture of the physical and spiritual connection that marriage brings between a husband and wife.  It is a picture of the varying stages of marriage, encouraging enduring love to prevail.  It is a beautiful picture of God’s design for marriage and sexual intimacy.     

Where is it happening?
It begins during Solomon and the Shulamite’s courtship.  It then follows the couple through their wedding night and beyond. 

When is it happening?
​It is thought that Solomon wrote the Book of Songs between 971 BC and 931 BC.  This is the time frame that Solomon was king of Israel.    

Why is it happening?
