We went to the east Battery Park {aka: White Coin Gardens} in Charleston today.  It was full of our nations history. Jeremiah enjoyed seeing all of the old guns and cannons. It overlooks Ft. Moultrie and Ft. Sumter {some of the first shots of the civil war were fired from this place}.
There were two wonderful artist that had their easels set up along the sea wall. You could tell they were {most comfortable} painting in downtown Charleston.  Charleston was full of beautiful homes and very old architecture. It was fun to ride the horse drawn carriage and hear the wonderful history of Charleston.
