Halloween 5K

28 October 2012

 I was so excited about the 5K Saturday I was practically ready to go before daylight.

It was a Halloween 5K so everyone was supposed to dress up.  I didn't want to be an "odd duck" so I  got a halo and angel wings that could easily be added or removed based on what everyone else was doing around me...  I didn't want to stand out {either way}!!!

As you can see there were plenty of people around me dressed up!!!  It was really fun once I got there and saw that Becky and I wouldn't be the only ones sporting a costume.

We had such a wonderful time.  This will truly be a 5K to remember:
1.  I Signed Up.
2.  I Trained.
3.  I Showed Up.
4. I Never Stopped Running.
5.  I Was Surround By Great Support.

{My Entire Family Came Out To Support Us... They were the Only People On The Course Watching... What A Great Support They Are To Me... I Love Them So Much.}

I was bib #42 and finished the Race in 37:11 with a pace of 12:05.
