It’s difficult to believe that a year has passed since giving birth to Lydia Beth. So much has changed in our world and we’re thankful for it!
Lydia is a content baby. She enjoys watching people and engaging through smiles and touch. She notices every detail: eyelashes, earrings, a tiny hair out of place, a freckle or tiny piece of lint on the floor - she’ll find it! She’s an investigator by nature and tries to figure things out. She is not in a hurry and is a joy to be around. She enjoys the outdoors and would rather be outside than inside. Lydia Beth is a happy little baby and we couldn’t feel more thankful that God has entrusted her to us.
Father, thank you! Thank you that you saw fit to give us Lydia. Jesus, in your generosity you have given us a precious gift. We realize that she is not ours, she is yours. We realize that we are here to guide her and offer direction in this world. Help us to be the type of parents that she needs. Help us to have wisdom with the big and small things. Give us direction when we feel lost. Help us equip her throughout the next year. Thank you for the support system you have given us and help us to humbly ask for help when we need it. You are so good to us and we owe our lives to you. Thank you for your extravagant gift of Lydia Beth. We adore you!
