[1:18-24] God was pleased to live in Christ. All the fullness of God is in Jesus Christ; this makes Jesus Christ – God! Jesus made peace through the blood of the cross. God forgives sinners because the penalty for sin has been paid with Jesus Christ’s blood.
God is reconciled to man and he offers that mankind is reconciled to God, but not all men will be reconciled to God. Paul encourages believers to continue to stand firm in the faith.
