[21-22] Paul was friends with
Philemon. Paul knew Philemon’s
testimony. Paul was confident that
Philemon would act with forgiveness, mercy and even more. Paul
is confident that he will be released from prison and be able to return to
visit Philemon. He asks Philemon to
prepare a guest room for him.
[23-25] Paul ends his letter with a
final greeting from other believers and fellow prisoners of Christ… Epaphras, Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, and
Luke. His final charge is that grace
from Jesus Christ will be with Philemon.
