[6:1-10] Paul is encouraging the believers to bring restoration [gently and humbly] to the believer who is overcome by sin. He gives a warning to not fall into the same temptation. Believers in Jesus Christ should share one another's burden and not think too highly of themselves. Believers who think they are important are called fools! Paul tells believers to pay attention to their own work, so they aren’t comparing themselves to others. There are some things in this life that we are responsible for on our own. The church should compensate their pastors or teachers because they are being taught the word of God.
Individuals will always harvest what they plant. Those who live to satisfy themselves will harvest sin and decay. Those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life. Paul encourages the church to not get tired of doing good. He reminds them that [at the right time] they will reap a harvest of blessing. If we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone [especially those in the faith].
