I can't believe it has already been one year since we bought our home! The days have flown quickly bye. It is Wednesday and I am home alone so I thought I would journal a thought or two to pass the time until I see my sweet baby.
Jeremiah went fishing with James Leslie this afternoon because James in only "home" for three more days until he has to return to Baghdad. He will probably be there at least 8 more months and I wanted Jeremiah to spend as much time with him as possible while he is home from war.
God, you have been so good to us already in our lives and in the lives of our friends. God, thank you for Jeremiah and what a wonderful man of God that he is. I thank you that he loves you and serves you faithfully. I truly have a rare treasure. Please God, protect his friend. Please God, I ask you to place your hand on James' life and keep him under your watch and care - help him to see that you are his shield. I love you Father and I thank you for Jeremiah and I ask that you will use this circumstance to draw Jeremiah more in touch with you and may you open up opportunities for him to talk on a deeper level about you with his friends. I love you God and I thank you for loving me.
